The dining area at the Poggio welcomes its clients by surprising their senses: the sight is gifted with the fascinating brick covered ceilings; their sense of smell is treated to the smells of the country, from the freshly cut grass to the deliciously delicate smells from the kitchen; by touching the walls, one can feel the rough plaster and stones which maintain the signs of time; the silent sounds of the country are welcoming to one’s ears, ending with the sense of varying tastes amongst the plates of our traditional country cuisine. Our open outdoor swimming pool is the perfect place to relax with its breathtaking view of Monviso surrounded by the tranquility of the country.
It opens during the summer period from 10:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m.
The pool has a deep-end of 140 cm.
The Poggio offers everything one could possibly desire in means of physical activity and games for both amateurs and professional athletes.
For those who love sports, we offer 4 tennis fields in synthetic Mapei, 1 in red dirt RedPlus; a five-a-side soccer field, as well as a basketball field, a sandy field for beach volleyball, an area for lawn bowling and a private 3km bicycle/hiking path. There is also a tennis school headed by Maestro Graziano Silingardi.
